Boer Goats
Boer goat meat is increasingly becoming more popular worldwide because of its lean, flavorful, tender, and succulent characteristics. The main advantages of rearing Boer goats are;
- They are a tough breed that easily adapt to different climatic and pasture conditions
- They are docile animals that grow fast and are well muscled
- They have high kidding capabilities with an average of two kids. They can kid up to three times in 2 years. Boer goats are productive up to 10 years of age.
- They are are low maintenance and have high resistance to disease
